Configuring database connection string
Go to the configuration (by default the config will be found under C:\agat\Bastion\filters\ews\EWS_Protector.xml)
Add the database connection string relevant details
Add the Key and IV from the Admin Portal configuration
Restart the Bastion

The Key and IV is needed in case it is needed to apply Ethical Wall Policies or DLP for Webapp/MAC and Mobile devices. you can advise are needed if Authentication Broker (Applying EWS Protector for Exchange online with Authentication Extender) is configured (for more information see Authentication Broker for EWS).
