Configuring database connection string

  1. Go to the configuration (by default the config will be found under C:\agat\Bastion\filters\ews\EWS_Protector.xml)

  2. Add the database connection string relevant details

  3. Add the Key and IV from the Admin Portal configuration

  4. Restart the Bastion

TThe Key and IV is needed in case it is needed if Authentication Broker(Applying EWS Protector for Exchange online with Authentication Extender) is configured(for more information see Authentication Broker for EWS) you can advise the following article for additional details as to how to find it
