Ethical Wall policy not being enforced when communicating with SIP addresses containing apostrophes

Symptoms
  • Any type of communication with a SIP address containing an apostrophe will not be calculated.
  • The following error will appear in the logs: "The local Sip and other Sip is not valid ... no calculating!"

Cause

The Ethical Wall engine doesn't recognize the SIP address containing the apostrophe as a valid SIP address.

Solution

Issue solved in Admin Portal Version 3.7.1.3
Contact AGAT Support and get the latest version of the Admin Portal.
