MDM for support Apple Business Manager

Sharing the Sphereshield app via the Apple Business Manager involves the following steps:

  1. We will share the app using your organization ID.

  2. You will receive an app config.

  3. Once the app is shared you will see the app in the Apple business Manager portal and get the token.

  4. The token will be used in the MDM in order to be able to see the app.

 

  • Sharing the app using the organization ID:

In order for us to share the app we will need to get the Organization name and ID.

You can find the Organization name and ID using the following steps:

1. Log in to Apple Business Manager.

2. Go to Settings then clock Enrollment information.

3. Look for your Organization ID and Company Name in the Enrollment information.

  • Getting the token from Apple Business Manager:

In order to get the token which you will use in the MDM following the next steps:

1. Go to Apple Business Manager portal.

2. Go to Settings → Apps and download the server token.

  • Using the Token in the MDM:

  • App Config instructions:

1. Citrix -

The app configuration defines the app-specific parameters that are automatically pushed down to the app.

Use the following steps to configure the app-specific configuration:

  1. Go to the Citrix portal .

  2. Go to Configure> Device Policies and choose under Apps > App Configuration

  3. Enter a name for the policy.

  4. go to iOS tab.

  5. Under Identifier choose Add new and enter com.agat.skypeshield.

  6. In Dictionary content enter the content of the APpConfig file (.xml), that contains the App-specific key-value pair configurations required for the app.

2. MobileIron -

Use the following steps to configure the app-specific configuration:

  1. Go to the MobileIron Core at: https://de.mobileiron.net/agat/admin

  2. Go to to Policies & Configs -> Configurations -> Add New > Apple -> iOS / tvOS > Managed App Config.

  3. Edit Managed App Configuration with the Name, Description, and for BundleId enter com.agat.sphereshield and select the external file (PLIST), that contains the App-specific key-value pair configurations required for the app.
