Instructions

1, Prepare hosting environment

Once the customer has agreed on starting the process with sales , AGAT prepares a separate n environment instance for the customer. Support will send email to customer with link to portal when the environment is ready,

2. Managing users

The system requires access to user info to apply rules based on group membership. Managing users is also required to allow access to the Portal with you company AD. This can be done using ADo n prem or Azure AD.

Option 1- AD on prem

Need to open firewall access from hosted service to you local AD. Contact support to get the IP of your cloud service

Option 2- Azure AD

3. Configure Sphereshield webex app

The apps gives access to your webex organization. During this process you will need to use the Portal URL that was supplied in step [1]

4. Build Room & Users members table

For performance reasons, before going live, the system needs to run a process of pre-populating room members as well as list of all users.
Room refers to both Space and Direct messaging. This is needed in order to effectively know for each activity done by a user - who are the related user in the room.

After cache is built, any room member updates are maintained continuously.

This process length depends on number of rooms and can take several hour or more. It is performed by AGAT at this point.

Typically, setup up the system can be done in a single session of a few hours
