Sentiment Analysis Power BI - How it Works

Background

Power BI is an interactive data visualization software product developed by Microsoft with a primary focus on business intelligence.

It is part of the Microsoft Power Platform. Power BI is a collection of software services, apps, and connectors that work together to turn unrelated sources of data into coherent, visually immersive, and interactive insights.

Data may be input by reading directly from a database, webpage, or structured files such as spreadsheets, CSV, XML, and JSON.

Which classifications are detected by Sentiment analysis?

Positive: joy
Neutral: neutral, surprise
Negative: anger, disgust, fear, sadness

How we use PowerBI in AGAT

At AGAT, we use PowerBI to create reports on Users/Chats/Meetings/Topics sentiments in terms of positive/negative, filter time periods, users, and groups.

The data in the report is based on AI classification available as part of AGI, the Virtual Assistant.

Power BI license considerations

The biggest difference between Free and Pro is that with Pro you can share your data, reports, and dashboards with other users who also have a Power BI Pro license. You can also create App workspaces. Both Power BI Free and Pro have a 10 GB data storage limit, and individual files for each are capped at 1 GB.

You can share with a free account, but then anyone can see the report https://valota.live/ways-to-share-power-bi-reports-dashboards-with-external-or-free-use
