How to configure email notifications for the AI Firewall

Preparations

1. User who is a site admin.

2. An environment with an active firewall.

ApplicationSettings.config

• Inside the machine, go to C:\Agat\BGService\Firewall\Configuration\ApplicationSettings.config and set <add key="RunBGMntsService" value="False" />

• Go to C:\Agat\BGService\ADSync\Configuration\ApplicationSettings.config and set <add key="RunBGMntsService" value="True" />

Save and restart the services

BusinessGPT Settings > Notifications

• Enable email notifications: Yes

• Outgoing mail (SMTP) server: smtp.office365.com

• Outgoing mail (SMTP) port: 587

• Outgoing mail (SMTP) server requires SSL: Yes

• Outgoing mail (SMTP) server requires authentication: Yes

• Outgoing mail (SMTP) username: agi@agatsoftware.com

• Outgoing mail (SMTP) password: LP- agi@agatsoftware.com

• Outgoing mail (SMTP) sender: agi@agatsoftware.com

• Admin notification email recipient: agi@agatsoftware.com

and Press ‘Save’

Open

Account Management > Account Settings > Notifications

• Enable email notification: Yes

• Notification email: The email address of the user to whom the emails will be sent.

• Event To Sent: To be filled according to customer requirements

• Share feedback with AGAT: Optional

Open
