In this document we will go over the process of applying a DLL hot fix to the LAC.
The DLL will be sent to you by the support team.
After you’ve downloaded it and extracted the ZIP, perform the following steps:
Backup the Bastion folder so we have a fallback option in case of an issue.
Default location isC:\Agat\Bastion
Stop the Bastion service:
Stop-Service Bastion
Go the filters folder in
C:\Agat\Bastion\filter
For each folder with the
lync_access_control.dll
, replace it with the one provided to you by Agat supportStart the Bastion service
Start-Service Bastion
Verify that everything is working:
Open the latest log file of the LAC. Default location is
C:\Agat\Logs\Lync_Access_Control
Take a look at the initialization entries and verify that there are no issues.
If you are unable to find it because there’s a lot of traffic, search for======
in the log:Open the Bastion.xml file, default location is:
C:\Agat\Bastion\Bastion.xml
Take a look at the take skype and grab one of the hosts there
Send a health check request to the Bastion using the following PowerShell command:
Invoke-WebRequest <<host in channel>> -Proxy http[s]://localhost
