SQL Hardware Requirements
- Microsoft SQL Server
- Hardware requirements should be in compliance with minimal/recommended hardware requirements published by Microsoft.
Recommended configuration:
- Windows Server 2008 R2 or higher
- 4 CPUs, 12GB ram, 10G disk space.
- HDD/SSD with R/W speed of at least 50MB/s.
- One server supports up to ~100K users.
- Use SQL mirroring/clustering for HA or SQL Always on.
- The Access portal DB doesn’t require a separate SQL server. It can be collocated in an existing instance/server.
