Logs & Settings Action Plan for SIP Filter
please follow this action plan in order to collect the SIP Filter logs:
1. Change the SIP Filter Log Level to debug
If you run the SIP filter on the Front-End server this step can cause performance and instability issues
If you run the SIP filter on the Front-End server this step can cause performance and instability issues
The default location of the SIP Filter is:
C:\Agat\SipFilter

2. Restart the SIP Filter Service
3. Replicate the issue
4. Collect the log sipfilter.<date>.log and the trace.<date>.log from the relevant date
Default log location is at:
C:\Agat\Logs\Skypeshieldsipfilter
Default log location is at:
C:\Agat\Logs\Skypeshieldsipfilter
5. Collect the SkypeShieldSIPFilter.yaml
6. Revert back to the old SkypeShieldSIPFilter.yaml and SipFilter.log4net.config files
7. Restart the SIP Filter Service
The following files are expected to be delivered following this plan:
- sipfilter.<date>.log from the relevant date
- trace.<date>.log from the relevant date
- SkypeShieldSIPFilter.yaml
- Access Portal logs and settings
