What happens when I want to use Ethical Wall to block file transfer but allow Powerpoint Presentations?

The problem:

Some use cases require to block file transfer while allowing  Q&A, whiteboard, Pools & PPT presentation.

When trying to block the  file transfer features in a conference, we run into the following technical problem:

In a conference, there is a SIP message that is used for Q&A, whiteboard, Pools, PPT presentation, and file transfer.

If you block this SIP (in order to block file transfer) all features described will be disabled.

The solution:

The SIP message which is used in the conference is not being blocked.

Instead, the AGAT Content Manager (ACM) service on the Front End blocks the file transfer, allowing other data collaboration features to work.

Important to know:

As mentioned above, the SIP message used in the conference is not being blocked in order to block file transfer.

Thus, when an internal user initiates first a collaboration session this SIP is not being blocked, but the service on the Front End (Content Manager) blocks the file transfer.

But, when the external user initiates first a collaboration session, the SIP discussed must be blocked as it is not possible to block a certain collaboration feature on the external users' Front-End server.

For anonymous web apps PPT presentation and file transfer is the same. So even if Data Collaboration is allowed and file transfer is blocked, PPT sharing will be blocked when users are using Skype Web Meeting App.
