Overview

In this version we have introduced a new mechanism of polling O365 messages and files to fill in gaps when Webhooks fail to work or when they miss a message or a file. With polling, the office application periodically scans the chat of all users and all channels to see if new content is available. This new feature is another layer of security and compliance that makes sure nothing gets past company policy.

This is the first version of polling, and the feature is expected to be improved with Smart Polling in future updates, improving upon the existing technology.

Important to know

 

Make sure the adapter config file has the new values:
