Does SphereShield for SfB support OAuth?
SphereShield for SfB supports external access by HTTP OAuth authenticated clients.
OAuth clients that connect using server to server authentication (certificate based) are allowed to connect via SphereShield without being registered as user devices.
Custom clients that acquire an OAuth token using AD or SphereShield credentials require registration like other external user devices.
Examples of supported clients
- Office 365 (Exchange Online) Skype for Business plug in that allows uses to schedule Skype for Business meetings
- Bots using the UCWA API
- Bots using the Microsoft Bot Framework
