Logs & Settings Action Plan for Bastion & LAC Crash/Freeze issues

Please follow this action plan in order to collect the following logs:

If crash dumps were created:

  1. Collect the whole C:\Agat\logs folder, including the .dmp file
  2. Send the logs to AGAT Software Support


If crash dumps were not created:

  1. Backup the whole C:\Agat\logs folder
  2. Delete the content of the C:\Agat\logs folder
  3. Create an empty text file in the C:\Agat\Bastion\ folder and name it Bastion.exe.debug.full 
  4. Restart the bastion 
  5. Replicate the scenario causing the crash
  6. Send the logs to AGAT Software Support

  • The logs are located by default in C:\Agat\Logs 
  • The Filter files are located by default in C:\Agat\Bastion\filters 
  • In case the Bastion crashes typically dump files are generated automatically in the following location C:\Agat\Logs\Lync_Access_Control\ and will have .dmp
    file extension.
