Gathering Teams Client Logs to Send to AGAT

The following instructions relate to gathering logs from the full Microsoft Teams client.
To obtain logs from the web client, open Chrome or Edge, press F12 to open Dev Tools and continue with step 2.

Generating Client Logs

  1. Click seven times on the Teams desktop client tray icon and then right click to get the expanded menu that includes dev tools.
    Select DevTools/Open DevTools (Main Window).

  2. Click the three dots (green box) and then click [Undock into separate window] (green box).

  3. Go to [Network] and make sure [Preserve Log] is enabled

     

  4. Go to [Console] and make sure [Preserve log] is enabled

     

  5. Do the action that replicates the error

  6. Once the error has been replicated, save the console logs by right-clicking in the Console pane and click [Save as…]

  7. Go to [Network] and press the down arrow to export the network traffic

    8. Compress and email the console log and HAR files to AGAT Support.
