How to first log-in to Admin Portal while using Local AD

The first login to the admin portal is supposed to be with the local Windows account. In previous admin portal versions it was done with a script that is blocked in newer versions for security reasons.

Do the following to log-in with Windows account:

  1. Browse the admin portal - http://localhost and select “Local AD”

  1. The portal will be stuck in this page

  1. Click F12 button to open DevTools

  2. Select Elements tab, delete the “Hidden” and move the cursor to another row

  1. You’ll see a new Windows button - click on it

  1. Login with local Windows user, e.g .\administrator
