BusinessGPT 2.7.0 - December 3, 2024

Main changes

  • Lite Mode- New friendly UI for the end user for Mobile and Desktop Users:
BusinessGPT now offers a streamlined Lite Mode UI for mobile and desktop users. This simplified interface displays only the admin-configured chats for the end user.
The admin can set chats per group and configure them with data sources and instructions for end users.

  • Customizable Dashboard and Branding Options:
You can now fully customize and brand the BusinessGPT dashboard and Lite Mode home page. Adjust text, apply custom CSS, and update the company logo to align with your brand.
For detailed instructions, visit the BusinessGPT Customization Guide.

  • Lite mode and dashboard Multi-language support - now supporting infrastructure for six languages (texts are still in progress but you can add yourself texts in your language)

  • Files in chat - Option to add file directly to the chatbot

  • Introducting instructions - Option for account and end-user instructions for the chat, such as answering and asking questions.

  • Introducing plans - Run multiple prompts in a sequence. This is the start of supporting AI Agent flows that will evolve in the following versions. For example, you can use a plan to create a meeting summary that will include an agenda, keynotes, action items, and minutes, running each prompt separately in a sequence

Lite Mode

For mobile users and desktop users, BusienssGPT offers a Lite mode UI that contains only the list of chats without all the data sources and firewall menu

The lite mode will be accessible in the following scenarios :

  1. Mobile - When the user signs into the dashboard from a mobile, he will be redirected to the LiteMode page.

  2. Desktop - if the user is part of the group defined in the field LiteModeGroups for Lite mode, he will see only the LiteMode page after signing in.

The Lite mode page displays a left menu with the list of possible chats shared in the user’s account and the user’s Chat history below.

When creating a shared chat, the admin can define the chat as visible in the lite mode.

Support - Embedded and LiteMode sharing

  1. An Embedded chatbot is a chat that anyone can use without the need to authenticate.
Typical use cases include a public website for customer support/sales or an internal website for employee HR.

  2. A LiteMode chatbot is a chat that requires authentication and is only relevant for internal employees. Permissions typically restrict the chat sources. The LiteMode chats are available only on the BusinessGPT site or mobile app.
