Main changes

  • Multi-Model Support:
    Administrators can now select which models are available for different types of chats, with options from both local and cloud services (AWS Bedrock, OpenAI), including Llama, GPT, AI21, Claude, and Deepseek.

  • Local Active Directory (AD) Integration:
    BusinessGPT now integrates with Local Active Directory, enabling automatic user login to the dashboard using Active Directory credentials for on-premises deployments.

  • SharePoint On-Premises Support:
    BusinessGPT now supports syncing files and permissions from SharePoint on-premises, ensuring seamless integration with your existing infrastructure.

  • Lite Mode UI Enhancements:
    Improved Lite Mode UI for a cleaner, more intuitive experience, with separate history views for each chat type and a dedicated data analysis menu for better organization.

  • Search Options:
    Users can choose from different search types, including Smart Search, Keyword Search, and Exact Match Search, providing flexibility to tailor the search experience.

  • New public API serivces:
    Exposed new API as part of BusinessGPT API platform to allow integration with company workflows including services such as search, get keywords, get topics, Get similar words, Get structured data, Extract text- see here full list Public API for integration

General

  • File uploads are now enabled exclusively in Company Chat. (Caused confusion having them in the public as it might be a company file)

  • Bug Fix: Resolved an issue where the file icon would disappear unexpectedly.

  • Data Analysis chats are now displayed separately from Company Chats.

  • Lite Mode chats are now automatically deleted if their associated content has been removed from the Dashboard.

  • Chat history panel added on the left side of the chat interface for every chat type (Assistant, analysis, general , search etc)

  • The copy-paste button now preserves the original text formatting.

  • Added support for uploading folders.

Smart Search

  • A new Search Mode Selector has been added, allowing users to choose between three search types:

  1. Smart Search – A hybrid approach combining semantic and keyword search for optimal accuracy and relevance.

  2. Keyword Search – Focuses on exact keyword matching for precise and direct results.

  3. Semantic Search – Uses AI-powered context-based understanding to deliver more advanced search results.

  • Users can now add custom CSS styling during chat creation.

  • Added "Content Info" metadata to each file.

Users

  • Bug Fix: Resolved an issue where active users were incorrectly marked as inactive.

User Settings

  • Changed the default values for "Max number of items to return" and "Max number of items to display" to 5.

Account Settings

  • Added ‘Lite Mode Layout Direction’ setting.

  • Added Local Active Directory (AD) Integration
